Devo continuar fazendo o que faço, trabalhos artísticos que visam aumentar a conscientização sobre o fato de que o carnaval de escola de samba é cultura. Cultura viva e que deve ser fomentada. Neste momento existem escolas de Samba que não possuem as mínimas condições de continuar fazendo o que fazem de melhor: servir como foco de resistência cultural de comunidades que não tem acesso a arte e cultura.

Myself, someone who does not have the influence or the necessary financial means. … It occurred to me that I couldn’t have done anything , but what I must do now is try to prevent more of our culture from being lost.
I must continue doing what I do, artistic works that aim to raise awareness about the fact that the samba school carnival is culture. A living culture that must be given support . At the moment there are Samba schools that do not have the minimum conditions to continue doing what they do best: serve as the only way some communities have to celebrate and preserve their history and culture.
